Our Approach to Counseling

We are goal centered. We work with you to explore your current situation and where you want to be.

Our Approach to Counseling

With us you can gain insight into the barriers preventing you from moving forward and with the skills you learn, you can move past those challenges with confidence.

Solutions for Life Long Success

Your experienced counselor will tailor your counseling experience so you come away with the unique set of tools to help you through the situations that are getting in the way of your happiness. You can improve communication skills, gain control over challenging emotions, and feel more confident in relationships.

Promoting Growth

We are committed to being a compassionate support person in your life. Our therapists work hard to earn your trust and create a safe and supportive environment together, so you can move forward feeling like you have grown as a person from our time together.

We are committed to

being a compassionate support

person in your life.

Trauma Informed

As a practice we continue to strive to be aware of current research surrounding trauma and how it can affect your success in counseling, mental, social, and biological symptoms trauma can have, and integrating research validated tools to overcoming effects of trauma. Many of our therapist are trauma specialists. They will bring that knowledge into the sessions so you can get the best results.

We will work hard to earn your trust and create a safe and supportive environment together.

Anti – Racist | Inclusive | Accessable

When it comes to therapy, we continue to strive to be informed and educated on how to address our own internal biases, how therapy itself can be a colonized construct, and how we can adopt a more anti-racist, inclusive, and accessible approach to counseling through our own continued growth. We strive to recognize how either being  a person of color, within the LGBTQ+ population, or a person with disabilities, are experiencing internal and external factors that play a roll in your mental health, relationships, coping skills, experiences, and realities that may be unique to you or a particular population. It is important to us to listen, to understand, and to tailor our approach to the needs of each and every client, not a one-sized-fits all solution while taking into account these dynamics that may often be missed.
