We’re Hiring: Full-Time Licensed Therapist

Ann Arbor Counseling Associates is seeking a licensed clinical therapist for a full-time position. 

The Position

32-hour work week | 24 billable hours minimum | Total potential starting salary with base + optional performance benchmarks – – $60,264.00 -$83,664.00

Then total compensation package (includes base salary + optional performance bonuses + benefits package) – $73,734.00 – $97,134.00

Transparent Compensation

Base salary $60,264 covers 24 billable hours weekly. Work additional hours at $75 per billable hour. Earn productivity bonuses as cash or convert to paid time off—your choice. Tenure-based progression: L2 at 19 months, L3 at 37 months, L4 at 55 months, L5 at 73+ months. You know exactly where the money comes from and where it goes.

Sustainable Work Structure

32-hour work week is structural, not aspirational. This includes 24 billable hours plus administrative and professional development time. Our support staff handles your billing and intake scheduling. 

Defined Time Off

96 hours PTO year one (increases to 128 hours after 5 years). Nine paid flexible holidays. Bonus-to-PTO conversion available. Not “flexible”—actual numbers that compound over time.

Clinical Support

8 Hours of PTO each year for professional training. Optional case consultation with peers (peer review when you want it, not mandatory supervision). Dedicated clinical director for performance growth. Access to our PA and psychiatric support for your patients. Administrative staff handles billing, intake scheduling, and coordination.

For Working Parents and Collaborative Clinicians

We create individualized schedules with your input. You work in a small practice where your voice shapes protocols and procedures. Optional (not required) social connection through team consultation, Slack, and team newsletter. Case consultation, mentorship, and professional development opportunities available to all clinicians.
